This unforgettable trip takes you to one of Northern Tanzania’s most iconic parks, the Ngorongoro Crater. Your 1-day adventure begins with a transfer from Arusha or Arusha Airport to the Ngorongoro Crater. After a short safari briefing from your guide, you’ll embark on a game drive through the crater, home to diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes.
This sample program can be booked as is, or customized to suit your budget and preferences. You can also extend the trip by adding an extra day at Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds.

Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive 156 km to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a packed lunch en route. Descend into the crater for a full day of game drives, exploring its diverse environments and spotting large herbivores and predators. The Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, spans 260 km² and is home to some of the densest wildlife populations in the world.
Later in the afternoon, return to Arusha.
