This day trip takes you to one of Northern Tanzania’s most iconic parks, Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds.
Your 1-day Tarangire Safari begins with a pick-up from Arusha or Arusha Airport, followed by a short briefing from your Safari Guide. After the briefing, you will embark on an exciting wildlife adventure through Tarangire National Park.
This 1-day Tarangire Safari is a sample program that can be booked as it is. However, like all of our trip packages, it can be customized to suit your budget and preferences. Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel or the airport and driven to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. The park, situated along the Tarangire River, features low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. It is known for its Acacia woodlands, massive Baobab trees, and southern swamps that attract a variety of wildlife, particularly during the dry season. Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant herds, offering an exciting wildlife experience. After a thrilling day of game drives, you will return to Karatu late in the evening.
