Overview
This exciting adventure takes you through the most iconic Northern Tanzania parks, including Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Crater, before flying to Zanzibar for a relaxing beach extension.
During this 10-day Tanzania safari, you will stay in a mix of comfortable lodges and a beach resort in Zanzibar. If you prefer different accommodations, we can customize the itinerary to suit your preferences.
The journey begins with a transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha, where you’ll meet with our Safari Manager for a briefing.
After breakfast the next day, meet your safari driver-guide and embark on your 8-day safari followed by your Zanzibar beach holiday.

Itinerary
Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), your driver-guide will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. You will receive a short safari briefing before settling in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park / Karatu
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a morning game drive. The park, known for its Acacia woodlands, giant Baobab trees, and vast elephant herds, stretches along the banks of the Tarangire River. Both the river and southern swamps attract a variety of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive before driving to Sangaiwe Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with lunch boxes to be enjoyed en route. Serengeti is famous for its dense predator population and the annual wildebeest migration. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive before heading to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a full-day game drive in Serengeti, starting from Central Serengeti and exploring different areas of the park. Your packed lunch will be served inside the park. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater / Karatu
After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with packed lunch. The area spans 8,300 km² and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game drives, exploring its diverse environments and spotting large herbivores. Later, drive to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Karatu to Arusha via Mto wa Mbu
After breakfast, head to Mto wa Mbu for cultural walking activities, learning about the local community and farming practices. Enjoy a local meal or packed lunch, then drive back to Arusha for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Arusha to Lushoto
After breakfast, depart at 8:00 AM for Lushoto, arriving around 3:30 PM. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8: Full Day in Lushoto – Village and Waterfall Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a guided walk through the village and Lushoto town. After lunch, explore more of Lushoto, including waterfalls, a German cave from WWI, and breathtaking views of Mombo. End the day with a drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Lushoto to Arusha
After breakfast, take a packed lunch and drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 10: Departure – Kilimanjaro Airport or Zanzibar
Depending on your flight time, relax at the hotel or explore Arusha town. Later, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
