Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel or Arusha Airport. Following a detailed safari briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. This park is renowned for its stunning landscapes, stretching along the Tarangire River and featuring low-lying hills along the Great Rift Valley floor. The park is characterized by vast Acacia woodlands and towering Baobab trees, with expansive swamp areas in the southern regions. The river and swamps attract large numbers of wildlife, especially during the dry season, and the park is famous for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. Enjoy a thrilling morning and afternoon game drive before heading to Karatu in the evening.

Day 2: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your exploration. Covering 8,292 square kilometers, Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. The crater spans 260 square kilometers with a diameter of 19.2 kilometers, creating an extraordinary natural sanctuary for one of the densest populations of wildlife. Spend the entire day on a game drive in the crater, observing a diverse range of wildlife including elephants, lions, rhinos, and various herbivores in this unique ecosystem. In the afternoon, return to Karatu for the night.

Day 3: Departure from Karatu to Kilimanjaro International Airport
On your final day, depending on your flight schedule, you can either relax at the hotel or choose to explore Mto wa Mbu village with a local guide, experiencing the rich cultural heritage of the area. Later, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.
