      Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha

      Upon clearing customs at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), your Lion View Tours guide will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation. The rest of the day is yours to relax and soak in the African atmosphere. Your knowledgeable guide can provide insights into Tanzanian culture, national parks, and attractions—feel free to ask any questions! Afterward, you’ll receive a safari briefing to prepare for your adventure.

      Day 2: Arusha To Tarangire National Park

      After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park for a morning game drive. The park, located along the Tarangire River, features low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor and is characterized by Acacia woodlands and giant Baobab trees. The southern swamps and river attract abundant wildlife, especially during Tanzania’s dry season. Tarangire is renowned for having some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Enjoy an exciting morning and afternoon exploring the park. In the evening, return to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

      Day 3: Karatu to Ndutu / Southern Serengeti National Park

      After breakfast, drive to the Southern Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with packed lunch to be enjoyed en route. The Serengeti, covering nearly 14,763 square kilometers, is renowned for its predator population and the annual wildebeest migration. Its name, derived from the Maasai word “Siringet,” means “boundless plain.” Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive before heading to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

      Day 4: Ndutu / Southern Serengeti National Park

      After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive, exploring the southern Serengeti and parts of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy an exciting day of wildlife viewing before returning to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

      Day 5: Ndutu / Southern Serengeti to Karatu

      After breakfast, continue your game drive around the scenic Ndutu area, exploring near the lake and swamps. You may encounter lion prides with young cubs, cheetahs, and leopards resting in the acacia trees. Witness the Great Wildebeest Migration with newborn calves, which are quick to their feet and able to run alongside the herd shortly after birth. Later in the day, drive back to Karatu for an overnight stay.

      After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying stunning views from the rim before descending to the crater floor for a game drive. Spot a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, and the rare black rhino, along with abundant birdlife. After a packed lunch in the crater, return to Karatu. Later, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home.
